Several by Master of Landscape Architecture students at UWA who re-imagined and re-designed the Town with a particular species in mind. Led by UWA Lecturer, Rosie Halsmith and using Jirdarup Bushland Precinct as a starting point and ‘living laboratory’, students focused on design strategies for native bees, reptiles and birds. Each design considers how backyards, front yards, verges, parklands and bushland areas can contribute to a connected, biodiverse network for the Town.
