We need volunteers to cover 28 2-hour shifts from Monday 8 April to Sunday 21 April. Morning sessions start at 9.30am. Afternoons start at 2.00pm

We will be either outside Kmart or outside the Pharmacy, depending on what else is happening that week.

Yes, one of our team will be there when you arrive for your shift and when you leave. We will have a short checklist with all you need to know. It will include important contact information.

We hope to roster 2 people for every slot but it depends on numbers. If you don’t want to be by yourself, we will make sure there is someone with you.

We plan to have a preliminary roster out to you before Easter on 28 March 2024, but of course we know things crop up so there will be some changes.

All we ask is that you know where it is, and you love it.

There will be a long table with chairs. You will have information about Jirdarup on display including our new brochures. Our book and poster will be for sale. You may have to handle some cash if people rather pay in cash than purchase from our website. There will be giveaway stickers.

There will be a second table for children. The first week will be the school holidays so there could be a few about. We will have a sign that says, children must not be left unaccompanied. There will be a range of colouring sheets with information about the flora and fauna of the area.
