The Etwell St entrance is about 200 m down Etwell St from the roundabout on Kent St – keep driving, riding, walking till you come to a car park near the Clubhouse.
If you are catching public transport, we recommend taking the 960 bus which stops in Kent St at stops 27500 or 27499. Take a 5-minute walk across the oval and you will see the clubhouse and parking area. The entry to the bushland, is off the carpark. Look for the bird waterer.
We are happy to organise a walk for groups early in the morning or late afternoon. Contact us to arrange a time that suits.
Cost: A small donation would be appreciated to help us cover costs of things like the website and insurance. You can do this when you book or at the event by cash or card.
Volunteer friends will be there to share the highlights with newcomers and we will definitely do our best to answer your questions. If you know Jirdarup well, come along and share your knowledge or just catch up with likeminded people.
Meet us at the Etwell St entrance off Kent St in Victoria Park. A walk takes about 45 minutes, please bring hat and water. If you don’t know the area, Google maps will take you to 1 Etwell St which is the roundabout on Kent St, the car park is about 500 metres away from the houses past the ovals.
If you are driving, it may be easier to park in Baron-Hay Court or Anketell St in Kensington during the soccer season.
