Description

This delightful 84-page book contains over 75 photographs of the flora and fauna of the Jirdarup Bushland Precinct in inner-city Perth in Western Australia. It pays tribute to the traditional owners and tells the story of development since 1901 as well as more recent progress toward conservation and restoration. It includes maps and historical records that illustrate the changing times and attitudes of the community and local authorities to the bushland.
