We have been invited to do a pitch at Vic Park Collective’s first Soup event for 2025 at:
- Broken Hill Hotel
Soup is a great local initiative where you will hear a 5-minute pitch from 3 or 4 community groups with an exciting project needing a bit of cash to make it happen.
Bring $10 cash and for this you will get Vic Park’s most delicious soup, a bread roll and a voting token. The group with most tokens takes home all the money taken at the door.

Burgers 1-31 May
Grill’d Waterford has chosen us to be one of three groups for their Local Matters jars for May.
Customers get tokens to put in jars and at the end of the month the group with the most tokens gets $300. The other groups get $100.
So, help us out by getting your healthy burger from Grill’d Waterford during May and pop your token in our jar.
This, like all donations until 30 November 2025, goes towards a memorial for our founder Gwynth Schlipalius
