Plants and animals

Jirdarup is a haven for wildlife. Its flowers and birds in particular bring enthusiasts and photographers from near and far. Both our publication Jirdarup Bushland and the Friends who care for it and the 2018 Kensington Bushland Management Plan by the Town of Victoria Park provide a lot of information as well as extensive references. You can also read more about flora, fauna and fungi.

This website is sponsored by the Town of Victoria Park, the Commonwealth Government and the Federal Member for Swan, Zaneta Mascarenhas.
We recognise and respect the Traditional Custodians of the Jirdarup Bushland Precinct, the Whadjuk people of the Noongar nation, and their connection to the lands, waters and skies.
