A total prize pool of $3,000 is on offer, courtesy of our valued sponsors.
The winner of each category will receive a cash prize of $400 and the runner up will receive $100 in cash.
Winners will be announced and prizes awarded at a special Awards Night held on Friday the 3rd of December 2021 at the Kent Street Gallery, Victoria Park Centre for the Arts.

Entrants in the Junior photographer category must be 17 years or younger (by close of entries, 30 September 2021), and may enter photos that fit any of the four nature categories.

Our expert panel of judges includes the internationally-renowned nature photographer Georgina Steytler and Robert Audcent (FoJB Committee member and expert photographer).
The judges will select the shortlisted images and choose a winner and runner-up for each of the five categories based on composition, creativity, technical quality, and overall impression (wow factor). The judges’ decisions are final.
The People’s Choice Award, sponsored by the Victoria Park Vet Clinic, will be chosen by the public visiting the exhibition at the Kent Street Gallery.
Note: Copyright of all entries will be retained by the photographer. The Friends of Jirdarup Bushland may negotiate on the use of winning images for promotional purposes.
